Version 1
The song only came out today, so this is by no means perfect,
but the chords are roughly correct. Hopefully someone with a better
ear and eye than I can make a better version. Letters in brackets are
individual notes, not chords. Most of the right hand
technique includes picking the bass note first before strumming.
Most of the voicings are pretty standard and can be seen in
the video (--.-/watch?ds49adGLs5nPKJio) but here
are some that aren't:

D/F# (2x023x)
C* (xxx553)
Asus2/B (xxx435) [not sure what this one should be called
D#7 (xxx323)

----------

[Intro]
Am7 (E F# G)

[Progression 1]
Am7 Am7/G D/F#
Once I thought I’d move to Nashville
G G/F# C
Where everyone’s better than me
Am7 Am7/G Dsus2/F#
And I’ve heard L.A. is nice this time of year
G G/F# C
Before it breaks into the sea

[Progression 2]
Em A7 D C*
You’ll see them dancing out at parties
Asus2/B D#7 D
Or drinking smoothies made of grass
Em A7 D C*
And with my many teeth I can't help but smile
            Asus2/B D#7 D
You know, a picture makes it last

[Progression 1]
Am7 Am7/G D/F#
And now the evening’s Hudson River
G G/F# C
Or without glasses on, Monet
Am7 Am7/G Dsus2/F#
Oh lord, what kind of idiot
G G/F# C
Would go to work this time of day?

[Progression 2]
Em A7 D C*
You’ll see us dancing out at parties
Asus2/B D#7 D
And drinking smoothies made of grass
Em A7 D C*
And with my many teeth I can't help but smile
            Asus2/B D#7 D
You know, a picture makes it last

[Interlude, Progression 3]
A D/A A G A G A

(For this part, he's mostly just riffing on the
A major shape with some G major thrown in and
it's kind of hard to tab. You'll have to watch
the video to get the feel of it.)

----------

[Progression 3]
A D/A A G A G A
If this is the new religion
A D/A A G A G A
Then where does that leave me?
A D/A A B
I’m a zealot and a hypocrite
E A
Just like I’m supposed to be

[Solo 1 over Progression 1]

[Progression 1]
Am7 Am7/G D/F#
And now I’m shopping for my groceries
G G/F# C
And wondering what it’s like to die
Am7 Am7/G Dsus2/F#
And now I’m wondering if we ever will
G G/F# C
When we’re all data in the sky?

[Progression 2]
